Case Scenario: After extensive review the University, D/A Central was selected based on expertise and capabilities. The University wanted to select a foundation for their security systems that provided enough modularity to accommodate current requirements, as well as future expansion in both volume and functionality. D/A Central and Lenel Systems were chosen as the combination that best fit their criteria.
The scope of the systems being implemented included access control, surveillance, visitor management and integration with University student and personnel systems. There was new construction involved for 3 additional buildings. There was also the requirement to install new capabilities at all existing buildings throughout the campus.
The various projects required extensive cooperation and scheduling to ensure timely implementation. Digital communication links had to be established for the paperless flow of information and documentation. CAD drawings and schedules were updated online and all parties were kept up-to-date on progress. Meeting were held on a regular basis to review progress, resolve issues and plan ahead.

The project involved the replacement of the existing field hardware with state-of-the-art Lenel security equipment. The challenge was to maintain the security of the facilities while replacing the entire 250+ door system. D/A was required to successfully transition the systems without any part of the system being down on a nightly basis.

Case Scenario:
D/A Central was originally contracted under an emergency order to replace existing proprietary security system. The replacement consisited on f\remvoal of all equipment down to door locks and contacts with placements of with state-of-the-art Lenel network based access control. Implementation of a new video system with combination of analog and digital was also designed to work across the network and be interfaced with Philips video matrix and Lenel access control system. Included in the integration was a SAT Phone Intercom system to allow entrance control of reote site gates.
The project was designed to be able to support the overall objectives for today as well as to the foreseeable futre. It has continued to advance to include more tightly integrated video and other applications.
