D/A Central, Inc. was originally known as Regiscope of Michigan.  In the early 70's our name was  changed to D/A Central, Inc. as our relationship grew with D/A General of Massachusetts.  Current president and owner, P. David Shelton started with the company in 1971 and then acquired the growing business in 1984.

Full service support capabilities are available throughout Michigan radiating from Detroit, Grand Rapids and the Tri-City/Flint locations.  Security Distributing and Marketing (SDM) has given D/A Central, Inc. national recognition by ranking us in the top 100 Security System Integrators in the United States since 1996.

D/A Central’s initial core business model was and continues to be  based on supporting the security needs of corporations with quality customer care and products that offer value to your business.   Our original solutions included specializing in film surveillance and processing, combined with consultation, design and installation.  As technology advanced, engineered systems included CCTV, intrusion detection and monitoring systems.  Other services included access control, digital networked video management, storage and service solutions.
