D/A Central, Inc. originally known as Regiscope of Michigan was founded in 1957. In the early 70's the name D/A Central, Inc. was added as the relationship grew with D/A Technologies of Massachusetts, also founded in 1957. The current president and sole owner is P. David Shelton who started with the company in 1971 and acquired the business in 1984. The core business of D/A Central has always been supporting the security needs of corporations with film, CCTV, access control, alarms, physical banking and drive-up equipment, and more recently, digital and networked video management and storage.
From these early beginnings in Metro Detroit, D/A Central, Inc. has expanded to three full service offices. Our Flint and Grand Rapids offices were opened in 1983 and 1987. We have received national recognition by Security Distributing and Marketing (SDM) which has ranked D/A in the top 50 Security System Integrators in the United States since 1996.
